What you’ll do: Core Responsibilities

  • Understand the core message, its target audience, and the opportunities and constraints of the platform (social media, informational or promotional emails, in-product messages, etc.) the message will be communicated through.

  • Conduct product and market research to understand product features, audience’s pain points, and the language they use to describe their needs and problems. 

  • Brainstorm pitch, visual and copy ideas with the other members of the product and creative team.

  • Present initial ideas covering a variety of communication themes.

  • Create crisp, effective copy that resonates with the brand voice and the visual language of the communication piece, while adhering to the text specifications of different media.

  • Revise copy based on internal feedback and copy performance.

  • Ensure factual and grammatical accuracy in all copywriting.

  • Analyze copy performance, draw meaningful insights and incorporate learnings.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and adapt them to come up with fresh copy ideas.

  • Work proactively and closely with other teams to ensure consistency in communication

Qualification & Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience as a copywriter for B2B / B2C in an advertising or digital agency environment, including experience in social media and product copywriting.

  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write in a range of voices and styles

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mass communication, English literature or design/creative studies.

  • Strong conceptual skills and expertise in typography and use of photography.
