What you’ll do: Core Responsibilities
Learn and understand applications and use case/testing flows.
Design, develop, maintain and execute functional, regression, integration and end-to end tests
Works with your peers, Dev manager, product developers, subject matter experts and others on assigned
modules.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks that can be used by both Development and QA
Do analysis and estimation of tasks assigned with minimum deviation.
Take ownership of task assigned from sprint till production rollout/deployment ready state
Follow company and team guidelines while working
Help define, improve and implement QA best practices
Represent QA at stand-ups, project meetings etc.
 
Qualifications and Skills
B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years experience in software QA
Report bugs discovered through manual testing or via analysis of automated test results and tracks them to closure.
Provides detailed bug analysis and assistance to developers for debugging.
Ensures that entrance and exit criteria are met and follows established testing standards, processes, and
procedures.
Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
Have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Efficient in effort estimation, planning, prioritization and time management
A fast learner with good problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Flexible with a positive “do what needs to be done” attitude
Should be able to do an impact analysis based on the code modifications.
Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
 
Great to have
Experience with startup teams
Experience in Digital Gaming
Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile app development or testing is a plus
Development experience along with testing background is a plus
Experience in Automation/API testing is an added advantage
