About the Role

What you’ll do: Core Responsibilities

  • You'll analyse and build stories around things like conversion, churn & game-play patterns and app usage.
  • You’ll identify and solve complex business problems that have direct business impact.
  • You'll build and maintain KPI dashboards that teams rely on for making key decisions.
  • You'll collaborate with team leads across the business to understand and support their data/ analysis needs.
  • You'll analyze AB tests results and draw inference through them to move and evolve the testing forward for maximum
    growth in a metric.
  • You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining data warehouses for the ease of exploratory analysis and stakeholder’s data needs.
  • You'll build and improve our underlying data infrastructure and tooling. (We currently use Looker, Mixpanel, Redshift, Pentaho, Mongo, MySQL and more).
  • You may have to write codes to automate manual time taking tasks using R, Python or VBA or Google scripting.

Qualification & Experience

  • You've spent 4-7 years of time working as analytics/ data science professional
  • You have experience analysing data, and a knack for understanding how the data has to be interpreted and represented.
  • You are a SQL expert. You have no problem regularly leveraging window functions, UDFs, self-joins, and other complex SQL functions to accomplish your data analysis goals.
  • Spreadsheets like excel, google sheets are your canvas to paint on with ease.
  • You have worked on any BI reporting and visualization tool.
  • You have a bias for using the right tools to get a job done with maximum efficiency. You are an expert at making tradeoffs between speed and accuracy.
  • You have strong product sense and user intuition which inform the questions you ask of the data you are analyzing.
  • You have experience building out data warehouses which facilitates speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • You have strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in analysing marketing metirics and making recommendation to marketing team on improving the Marketing ROI. You would be building attribution models, optimizing marketing investments and helping growth team get more subscriptions. Experience with Marketing Tools (Adword, ASA), Mixpanel, GA and programming with R or Python is preferable
